New Multicache Challenge for North Wales
North Wales Geocacher Daerydda has posted an epic series of 8 caches in Southern Snowdonia. 4 of the 8 caches contain clues to find a final hidden cache. The first cache in the series can be found here. These caches are hidden in mountainous areas, so please take sensible precautions such as wearing suitable clothing and footware, informing a friend of your plans, and taking a map and compass in addition to your GPS.

This sounds like so much fun. Next time you do this I want to come. I have wanted to visit Wales for years, and finally got around to getting a passport and international travel insurance, so I should be able to attend next time you do this. I want to learn a lot about geocaching too.

Now this is the kind of challenge that I like. A map and compass just like in the good old days, its good to familiarize yourself with a compass, because batteries could run out on your GPS. You can`t know them all, can`t you. I am a big fan of traveling and when it came to make plans, I usually got my GSP and looked up on the internet for some places to book in advance, from Tampa classifieds or any tourist websites. Come to think of it, there`s more to it when it comes to detecting and staying on track tools. I find it amazing how things have evolved up to the Geocacher release.
